The Grand Home was built in 1895 by the Griffith Family. The Griffith's daughter married the Randolph's and they continued the legacy of building onto the home. The Grand Home slipped into the hands, for a brief period, of owners who didn't appreciate the history and architectural detail. In 1974, the Doughty family took ownership and restored the home to it's original glory and continue to do so until today. From the detailed brass light fixtures and door hardware, to the ornate, hand crafted oak woodwork. With walls of brick twelve inches thick, this home was built to be cherished by all for many years to come.
